Shion says that they're wasting time and she'll gather enough data whilst Futaba and Taiyo go ahead. Kengo says they should accept his decision rather than go against it, and Nanao agrees also saying that Kyoichiro would want them all to listen to Mutsumi's decision. Futaba suggests he may not be acting of his own will and Kengo says it'll be best to consider his point of view since this is the decision he came to. Kengo says that he's against going after him too since Kyoichiro is clearly going through something and they need to respect that and cool off. She says how he shouldn't hide his emotions and she's going to chew him out once she finds him. She says how there was no reason for him to hurt Taiyo and it's unthinkable that he'd leave them with no reason given. Futaba agrees with Mutsumi's point but refuses to cooperate. She says they all need to calm down and Kyoichiro always acts with their best interests in mind, so there must be a reason why he vanished.

Mutsumi is on Shion's phone and tells them not to pursue him and to return home. Futaba, Shion and Taiyo all decide to go after him.

Taiyo wonders what happened and why Kyoichiro cut them off from reaching him. Shion also checks her phone which shows there is no detection of Kyoichiro or the past heads. Futaba gets angry and throws rocks around the surrounding area to check if he is actually gone. The siblings are left shocked after Kyoichiro disappears right in front of them apologising.
